Description
The holiday home is suitable for 4 people and features two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a high-quality double bed, 1.80m wide. Bedroom 2 offers two comfortable single beds, each 90cm wide.
The house is located on a 25-hectare estate, along with the maison d’artiste and the roulotte. These nature cottages can be rented together or separately. Thanks to the size of our estate, you will enjoy complete privacy!
Wi-Fi: Provided by Starlink – fast and stable, with a dedicated router. This makes working during your holiday perfectly possible. There is also a TV with Netflix.
The kitchen, newly renovated in 2024, is well equipped with an oven, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine, a kettle, a toaster, and various pots and pans.
The living room includes a dining area with a spacious dining table and a seating area with a sofa and two armchairs designed by Rob Parry. The large wood-burning stove easily heats the entire house in winter! Some basic knowledge of wood stoking is useful, but we are happy to help.
There is also a small, dated but clean bathroom with a shower and sink, as well as a separate toilet.
The car can be parked inside the barn, keeping it wonderfully cool during summer outings. Electric cars can be charged overnight (paid service).
The artwork in the house is created by us, adding a personal touch to the decor. We hope our creations contribute to an inspiring and cosy atmosphere during your stay.
Garden
For extra privacy, the house features a large enclosed private garden of approximately 600m², directly accessible via the kitchen door. Here you will find a cosy dining table, comfortable lounge chairs, a hammock, and a barbecue. From the garden, you can enjoy stunning views across the valley towards the village of Monpazier, just a 15-minute walk away. Adding to the charm, the garden borders a sheep and goat meadow.
Naturally, the 25 hectares surrounding the farmhouse are open for our guests to explore. We have created several walking trails, allowing you to set off on wonderful adventures.
Jacuzzi
Cool off on a summer afternoon or warm up under the starry sky. In the garden of the holiday cottage, you will find a spa/jacuzzi available during the summer months. The pump is equipped with a saltwater system, ensuring clean and clear water at all times. The jacuzzi features bubbles, massage jets, and an easy-to-use display for settings. We ensure clean water and new filters before your arrival! The cost for using the jacuzzi is €75 per week.
Terms and Conditions
Payment
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining balance can be paid via bank transfer 10 days before arrival or in cash on the day of arrival. Payment details will be sent to you via email.
Cancellation
Of course, we find it unfortunate, but we understand that plans can change. Cancellations up to 4 weeks before arrival are free of charge, and you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after this period, we will retain the deposit. Cancellations within 1 week of arrival are no longer possible; in that case, you are required to pay the full amount minus the cleaning fee and tourist tax.

We enjoyed the stay and the style of the accommodation with personal decoration and not IKEA as often… everything was functional, beautiful kitchen. During the colder months, you’ll experience the charm of a traditional stay by tending to the wood-burning stove – just like the locals do. It creates a cosy and authentic atmosphere, perfect for a warm and cocooning getaway.

For a quiet weekend we couldn’t have asked for better. So if you’re looking for tranquility and nature to walk around with your four-legged companions, you’ve come to the right place. The cottage is ideally located and very well-equipped. Sofie was a great host, attentive but also very discreet. We’ll be back!

Pour un week-end au calme nous ne pouvions rêver mieux. Alors si vous cherchez la tranquillité et la nature pour vous balader avec vos compagnons à quatre pattes, vous êtes au bon endroit. Le gîte est idéalement situé et très bien équipé. Sofie a était une super hôte, à l’écoute mais également très discrète. Nous reviendrons !

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans le gîte que propose Sofie et Irm. Un accueil chaleureux et des hôtes toujours présent pour répondre à nos questions. Le logement est charmant avec une attention spéciale à la décoration. On trouve un peu partout des œuvres d’art créent par les hôtes qui donne ce « petit plus » à la maison. Le séjour présente un cadre parfait pour profiter de la tranquillité de la campagne en plus d’être très bien situé. A quelques minutes seulement de Monpazier où se trouve restaurants, supérette et visites touristiques mais aussi proche de nombreux chemins de randonnée, il est toujours possible de trouver une activité à faire! Merci encore à Sofie et Irm pour leur immense gentillesse ! On reviendra avec plaisir !

We hebben het ontzettend goed gehad in het heerlijke vakantiehuisje op Sivade. Hele gastvrije hosts, het ontbrak ons aan niets. Alles is dus aanwezig, kamers zijn schoon en ruim. Woonkamer is gezellig ingericht met o.a. een zithoek, kachel en fijne eettafel. De enorme tuin die je tot je beschikking hebt is prachtig en wat een uitzicht!
Monpazier met alle voorzieningen is op loopafstand en in de omgeving zijn er wandelpaden en diverse dorpen te bezoeken. Kortom: verblijf hier is een aanrader! Wij hopen terug te komen!
